You're Invited: Bottle and Bag Night
With spring cleaning at the forefront of this month, it is definitely time you did your yearly clothes purge to make room for all those fantastic summer thrift finds.
If your anything like me, by now you have at least one trash bag full of old clothes that you are currently hiding in the back of your closet, or under that table, or on top of that chest.
Either way that bag has to go... right? Wrong!
Your old bag of clothes is only the beginning!
You are now ready to.... drum roll please....
host your own BOTTLE AND BAG NIGHT!
Bottle and Bag night is a gathering of friends looking to get rid of old clothes, gain new clothes, drink some wine, and enjoy each other.
Also if any Leonardo DiCaprio movie happens to come on that would be fine too! (wink wink Romeo + Juliet)
What you need for a successful bottle and bag night:
- Bag of old clothes
- bottle of your favorite wine
- group of friends
Once all gathered one by one the bags will be sifted through like an auction. Though it may take a bit to go through all the items one by one, it will give you and you and your friends some time to wine down. LOL! Get it! Wine down.
There is no limit on the amount of items you can bring as long as it's clean. You can bring shoes, bags, sunglasses, clothes, etc. Oh, and hangers are welcome!
Don't worry if there is a pile of clothes no one wants after the exchange is done, you have an even bigger pile of clothes to give away to your local Red Cross or Neighborhood Shelter.
Now go grab your friends, your bag of old clothes and a nice bottle of Nobilo Sauvignon Blanc ( Julee's Fav) or The Beach House Shiraz (Morgan's Fav) and get to Bottle and Bagging!
