3 Great Wines for a Great Price

When you go to a Wine & Spirits do you get kinda nervous? Do you wonder down the aisles thinking what does this all mean? What the hell is the difference between a Shiraz, Cabernet or Pinot Noir? Gah! Do you usually just pick whatever label looked the prettiest or had the coolest design in hopes it would be good? It usually isn't. Lucky for you I decided to finally figure out what all this wine talk is really about without braking the bank.

I know! Crazy! I found out that what I liked didn't always agree with my wallet. So I embarked on a mission to find the best CHEAP wine and figured I would share that with you.

1. The Beachhouse: This is a great South African red wine. It is has a great range of flavors which makes it a really good buy if you are going over to someone's house and you don't know what they are serving. It goes really well with a light meal as well as a hearty one. This Beachhouse wine can class up a pizza dinner as well as a homemade shepherds pie. It is a really low key kind of wine that makes you just wanna relax.

2. Goats do Roam: I love this amazing South African red wine. The grapes that make up this wine come from all over South Africa which is pretty cool. This is my favorite wine for a BBQ , a nice pasta dinner, a stew, or for some laid back American food (a meal with MEAT).

Can you see the theme? Yes. South Africa, in my humble opinion, has the best bang for your buck. You can be sure to pick up some really great wines for not that much. They know what they are doing when it comes to wine.

3. Nobilo: A Sauvignon Blanc white wine. First off, this is a dry wine, so it's not super sweet. which means it usually is the best type of wine to drink while not getting those horrible hangovers. It is really great wine to pick up last minute because they usually keep it in the refrigerator in the store so it is ready to go. This is typically an awesome summer white wine but also works really well in the winter. I know a lot of people (Julee) love white wine and this is definitely a good crowd pleaser.
