Fire Up Hope was a Flaming Hit!
This past weekend Morgan and I were invited to Philly's Inaugural, Fire Up Hope BBQ Festival, hosted by Philadelphia's Country Station, 92.5 XTU and non-profit, Help Hope Live. This two day event really showed us that food does bring people together, to share in a little Hope!
This BBQ Festival was unlike any other BBQ Festival I've ever been attended. People traveled far and wide to participate in this event! Proceeds made from this event benefit Help Hope Live. The camaraderie of the attendees was a feeling I will never forget. The smiles on the faces, the laughter of the children, and all the messy fingers and faces really brought this event to life.
Morgan and I cannot hide the fact that we love BBQ, so this event was right up our alley. With summer coming to an end Fire Up Hope, was our last BBQ of the season, and I do have to say we went for it! Ribs, and wings, and lemonade OH MY!

We decided to participate in the Fire Up Hope People's Choice Wing Contest! You had two options to choose from!
1) For $5 you could try 6 wings!
2) For $10 you could try 12 wings!
With each purchase you also receive 2 gold coins to VOTE for your favorite!
I chose the 6 wing option, if I ate anymore I would have had to be rolled home!
