Best of Broads: Fat Jack's BQQ
I can't keep it a secret anymore, Fat Jack's BBQ, is serious about their BBQ!
Fat Jack's BBQ doesn't just understand BBQ, they eat, sleep, and breathe BBQ! Morgan and I first enjoyed Fat Jack's BBQ at the Philly BBQ Festival this summer, and we were blown away by there BIG taste! We were impressed with their sausage but once we dug our teeth into Fat Jack's famous ribs we were hooked!
Ever since that day Morgan and I had been dreaming about those ribs, so we decided to turn our dreams into a reality! We hopped in Morgan's car and set out on our Fat Jack's BBQ adventure!
Boy were we glad we did!

BEST OF BROADS
review of Fat Jack's BBQ!
Fat Jack's BBQ's mission is to harmoniously bring together their guests, employees, establishments, and BBQ in order to provide an outstanding over all experience for all involved. Pitmaster, President, and CEO of Fat Jack' BBQ, Glenn A. Gross, has true love for all things BBQ! You can tell that love and pride spreads to all of the Fat Jack's family. Just ask any Fat Jack's employee to recommend their favorite entree, you will see they can't pick just one! So Morgan and I ordered 3!
WHAT WE ORDERED!
When we walked into Fat Jack's BBQ we were instantly greeted by their friendly staff! Brisket, BBQ sauce, cheddar Jack cheese and scallions. We were so torn on what to order we asked Javier, the Fat Jack's General Manager and his staff to recommend a few items to us. Their faces lit up with excitement. Morgan and I knew we were in for a REAL BBQ treat!
Brisket, pulled pork, ribs oh my!
Morgan was licking her lips waiting for the Brisket Fries! They are french fries topped with chunks of hot brisket, slathered in BBQ sauce, sprinkled with cheddar Jack cheese and scallions! Seriously what more could you ever want! The ultimate BBQ comfort food! Trust me when I say, you have never had a dish quite like this before. Do yourself a favor put The Fat Jack's Brisket fries on your MUST TRY list!
I myself have a weakness for pulled pork, so Morgan and I split the Carolina Pulled Pork with French Fries. Javier recommended we order our fries "loaded", which means with beans, scallions, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream! Good idea Javier! The pulled pork was divine and so juicy with the Fat Jack's Mild BBQ sauce!
As you know the Fat Jack's Ribs speak for themselves! Their 1/2 Slab Ribs are St. Louis cut and oh so tender! Just look at them! They need no introduction or sauce! The meat just falls off the bone and straight into your mouth! You will dream about those ribs, trust me!
The Fat Jack Sauces!
To use the sauce, or to not use the sauce, that is the question?
To be honest, I put sauce on everything, and if there isn't enough sauce I always ask for extra. With Fat Jack's I was torn. I love BBQ sauce, especially if it's sweet and tangy plus deep and smokey, yum! But Fat Jack's knows their meat is so good it doesn't need sauce. Fat Jack's also knows that their sauces are so good you will want to put them on all of your meat.
SEE MY PROBLEM!
Of course, I had half my meat with sauce and half without, to solve my sauce debacle.
Crisis averted!
